Comments:

The Glade Lane mast is located at the end of a Park next to the Grand Union Canal just on the edge of Southall.

It was the sender for Southall's Sunrise Radio until they took over the high- powered BBC GLR AM slot at Brookmans Park.

Despite the mast configuration, Glade Lane has a omni-directional radiation pattern under the present license.

The mast is adjacent to Brunel's well known "Three Bridges" where road, canal and railway cross at the same point (right). >
